S7 Shock-Resisting Tool Steel is an air or oil hardening tool steel with very high impact toughness. Recommended for cold work tools that require resistance to high impact and shock loading, such as shear blades, swaging dies, gripper dies, chisels, and punches. Decarb Free flats have saw cut edges and are oversized on all dimensions to allow at a minimum, finishing to listed size.
