Product Description
40% Glass-filled PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) refers to a specific formulation of PPS thermoplastic composite material where 40% of the total weight of the material consists of glass fiber reinforcement. The remaining 60% is typically PPS resin.
By incorporating a higher percentage of glass fibers into the PPS matrix, 40% glass-filled PPS offers increased mechanical strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability compared to lower glass-filled percentages or unfilled PPS. Also know under brand name Techtron PSGF PPS is a compression molded analogue to Ryton R4 resin. It offers better dimensional stability and thermal performance than unfilled PPS and maintains its strength to above 425F. OD is oversized and ID undersized.
