Aircraft grade honeycomb panels are a very lightweight yet very strong alternative to plywood, solid aluminum, and other substrates when strength is needed but weight is a major concern.
These panels can be used in to provide a flat, stable structure in marine, recreational vehicles, aircraft and all types of applications where light weight and high strength are required.
Facing (Skins): Glass Epoxy Prepreg 7781 0.010 thickness (Fiberglass with Epoxy Resin Binder)
Honeycomb: 5052 Aluminum, 1/8 inch cells, Foil Gage 0.00095, Thickness 0.670 inch
5052 corrugated aerospace grade aluminum honeycomb is a high density core material which
offers superior strength over expanded aluminum honeycomb.

We leave approx 1/4 to 1/2 inch extra material for any dents or damage on edges.
